Welcome to Osho Tarang

A letter of love ❤  inviting you to experience the waves of the buddhafield

Upcoming Program

Osho Tarang An opportunity to meet yourself

Osho Tarang is not simply a meditation center, it is an invitation. A letter of love inviting you to experience the waves of the buddha field, to immerse yourself in the silence and beauty of nature inside and outside you. Nestled in Kamrol village on the outskirts of Vadodara, Gujarat, Osho Tarang offers you nurturing space to explore the wings of meditation and love through participation in work, meditation camps and play. It is an experiment to create a buddhafield that rests on the deep longing for meditation to become a way of life – not separate from our day to day life but deeply embedded in the way we live, breathe, eat, work, relate.

Osho Meditations

‘Meditation is adventure, the greatest adventure the human mind can undertake. Meditation is just to be – no action, no thought, no emotion. You just are, and it is sheer delight.’

(Osho: The Orange Book)

Watching is meditation.

 What you watch is irrelevant.

Watching is meditation. What you watch is irrelevant. You can watch the trees, you can watch the river, you can watch the clouds, you can watch children playing around. Watching is meditation. What you watch is not the point; the object is not the point. The quality of observation, the quality of being aware and alert – that’s what meditation is. [….]

Remember one thing: meditation means awareness. Whatsoever you do with awareness is meditation. Action is not the question, but the quality that you bring to your action.

Walking can be a meditation if you walk alertly. Sitting can be a meditation if you sit alertly. Listening to the birds can be a meditation if you listen with awareness. Just listening to the inner noise of your mind can be a meditation if you remain alert and watchful.

The whole point is one should not move in sleep. Then whatsoever you do is meditation.”

– Osho, “The Search, #7”

Meditative Therapy Groups

Therapy groups are the energetic methods involving a minimum of interaction among the participants, but the energy of the group helps each individual go more deeply into his or her own processes.

The three original meditative therapies created by Osho are: Osho Mystic Rose, No-Mind, Born Again. These are the radical energetic processes that lead to a final stage of silent self-awareness.

Osho Mystic Rose Meditative Therapy

It is a three-week process, lasting three hours per day. During the first week, participants laugh “for no reason at all,” dissolving the blocks of their conditioning that prevents their spontaneity and joy. The second week is devoted to crying, and the third week to silent watching meditation.

Osho No-Mind Meditative Therapy

It is a week long process, lasting for two hours a day.

For the first hour, participants do Gibberish (Gibberish means don’t say things which are meaningful, don’t use the language that you know). For the second hour they sit silently doing nothing.

Osho Born Again Meditative Therapy

This is the third of Osho’s meditative therapies, lasting for two hours a day for seven days.

First Stage: For the first hour you behave like a child, just enter into your childhood.
Second Stage: For the second hour just sit silently.
